This new PL41 clear silicone gasket MC047Sil. creates a superior seal.
Details:
You will need to change your gaskets every 1-2 years.
You should also keep a spare under the tray for when you need to replace the gasket.
You will know when to change the gasket:
When the coffee starts to over flow from handle, when making a coffee. You won’t have the correct pressure to extract the coffee, leaving a diluted watery taste in the coffee.
Tip: Replace before the gasket has hardened, otherwise it is harder to remove. No later than 2 years !
