Low-Profile Tamping Mat for Anywhere on the Bench

Unlike a corner mat, this one has no edge drop, so you can place it wherever suits your workflow, beside the grinder or in front of the machine. At just 5 mm thick it adds almost no height, and the 20 x 15 cm surface gives you room to tamp, rest the portafilter and park the tamper.

Raised Border and Recessed Tamper Spot

A slim raised rim runs right around the edge to keep loose grounds and drips on the mat. In one corner a shallow circular recess gives the tamper a defined resting place. The food-grade silicone tolerates heat up to 200 °C and cleans up with warm soapy water.
