Built to repeat

Turn the knurled top ring to raise or lower the ripple face, then press until the smooth collar sits on the basket rim. Because the stop is mechanical, a new user gets the same tamp depth as an experienced one, which keeps extraction steadier from shot to shot. Rinse the ripple face after each session so coffee does not settle in the grooves.
