58 mm Coffee Tamper – Rosewood Handle, Steel Cap, Flat Base

Broad rosewood grip with a steel cap

Rather than a slim teardrop, this handle has a wide, flat-topped crown that spreads the load across your palm. A small stainless steel disc is set into the top, and the reddish timber shows a bold grain. The steel cap protects the end grain where your palm presses hardest, so the top keeps its finish over years of daily use.

Built for a firm press

The base is satin stainless steel with a flat face and a wide flared shoulder. The handle is about 100 mm tall, so even large hands stay clear of the portafilter, and around 390 g gives it a solid, planted feel. The same design is also made in a 51 mm size.
