55 mm Espresso Filter Basket – 18 g, 65 mm Rim, 27.5 mm Deep

A 55 mm basket for an 18 g dose

This is a plain stainless steel filter basket for portafilters that take a 55 mm basket. It holds roughly 14 to 18 g of ground coffee, which suits a standard double shot. The rim measures 65 mm across and the body is 27.5 mm deep.

Shape and fit

A pressed retaining ridge runs around the outside wall so the basket clips into a portafilter spring. The base is evenly perforated and made from food-safe stainless steel. Because 55 mm is a less common size, check the inside of your portafilter and the rim of your old basket before ordering.
