Light beech three-flange distributor

Pale beech gives this distributor a clean, Scandinavian look that suits light benchtops. The handle is turned with a soft waist and sits on a knurled aluminium ring. Under the ring is a polished stainless base with three flanges, made for 58 mm baskets.

Comes apart for cleaning

The stainless base threads into an aluminium insert fixed in the wood with small screws. Turn the ring to set the depth, then lock it at your usual dose. Beech is a dense hardwood, so it handles daily use well. Over time the beech will darken a little and take on a soft sheen from handling.
