A plain, hard-wearing tool for 58 mm baskets. Both the handle and the height ring are black aluminium with a fine diamond knurl, giving plenty of grip. The brushed stainless base carries three sloped flanges that spread the grounds as you turn.

Three-part design

The tool comes apart into a threaded stainless base, a height ring and a cap. Turning the ring changes how deep the flanges reach, so you can match it to your dose and basket. Taking it apart also makes cleaning easy. The matt black finish suits darker machines and grinders, and the brushed base hides small marks from daily use.
