Instead of a handle, this tamper has a short, stepped body that sits under the palm. A spring inside lets the base push back once you reach the set pressure, so every shot gets the same tamp.

Level every time

The outer collar rests on the basket rim while the flat stainless base drops into the coffee, keeping the puck level without any guesswork. The matt black aluminium body is only about 55 mm tall, so it fits under low grinder forks and in tight spaces. It weighs roughly 550 g. Because the pressure comes from the spring, new staff produce the same result as experienced baristas from their very first shift.
