Making a smooth golden latte

Turmeric powders mix best when they are dissolved first. Stir a measure into a little hot water to make a paste, then add steamed milk and stir again before serving. Because the blend is vegan, it can be made with oat, soy or almond milk for dairy-free customers, as well as with regular milk.

Turmeric can stain jugs, cloths and benches, so rinse milk jugs and wipe the steam wand straight after use. Keep the pack tightly closed in a cool, dark cupboard, as light and moisture affect the colour and flavour of spice blends over time.
