Retro looks, everyday reliability
The Barlume takes its design cues from 1950s Italian bars, with mirror-like chrome, opal Plexiglass and briarwood-coloured knobs. Underneath, it is a straightforward volumetric café machine that staff can learn in a shift. It is made in Treviso, where Elektra has built espresso machines since 1947, and finishes come in silver, blue or white.
Details that matter
Electronic control of boiler water temperature keeps brewing steady, and a combined high-precision gauge shows pump and boiler pressure. Each group has five programmable soft-touch buttons. Steam taps use Bakelite knobs, interchangeable with pivoting levers, and a programmable night cycle lowers energy use after close.
