Panica House Blend – our everyday espresso

The House Blend is the coffee we reach for first: a three-origin blend roasted in small batches in Melbourne and packed as 1 kg of whole beans. The label says it is best for espresso and double-shot lattes, and that it suits automatic coffee machines.

Three origins in one bag

Brazilian beans give a smooth, gently sweet base, Ethiopian beans add a floral lift and brightness, and Guatemalan beans bring body and a hint of cocoa. In the cup expect caramel and chocolate with a subtle fruity edge and a medium body that holds up well under milk.

Brewing and storage

It is forgiving in home espresso machines and bean-to-cup automatics, and also works in a plunger or moka pot. For a sweeter, lighter cup see Panica Light Roast.
