Calibrated 58 mm tamper with a black handle

This 58 mm tamper takes the guesswork out of tamp pressure. Inside the matt black aluminium handle sits a spring-loaded plunger, so once the handle bottoms out against the collar you know the coffee has had the same press as the last shot.

Spring action and removable base

The handle threads onto a flat stainless steel base on a steel stud, and a bearing ring sits between the two for a smooth stroke. Because the base comes off, it is easy to dry properly after rinsing. Total height is about 93 mm, so it sits comfortably in a closed hand.
