58 mm Coffee Tamper – Black Aluminium Handle, Black Flat Base

All-black 58 mm tamper

If you like a stealthy bench, this is the tamper. The teardrop handle and the outer rim of the base are both finished in matt black, leaving only the brushed stainless pressing face exposed.

Light grip, flat face

The handle is aluminium, which keeps the tamper lighter than a solid steel design at about 300 g. It measures 87 mm tall with a 35 mm wide grip, a comfortable size for most hands. The flat base is the standard choice for even puck density. Hold it with your wrist straight above the portafilter, press firmly once, then give the handle a light twist to polish the surface of the puck.
