This tamper keeps things traditional: a pale, natural-finish beech handle with a rounded knob on top, set into a mirror-polished 58 mm base. The light timber brightens a bench full of black and steel.

Comfortable, balanced press

The handle narrows at the neck and flares into a broad knob, so your palm sits on top and pushes straight down. The polished stainless base has a flat face for a level puck. At around 90 mm tall it suits most hand sizes. The beech is smooth and sealed, so a quick wipe keeps it clean. The polished base shows fingerprints, but a soft dry cloth brings back the mirror finish in seconds.
