58 mm Coffee Tamper – Brown Composite Handle, Flat Base

A budget 58 mm tamper with a grippy handle

This is our lowest-priced 58 mm tamper. Also, the brown handle is a layered composite with a fine woven texture, closer to a resin board than to plain timber, and it gives a dry, secure grip.

Threaded, two-piece build

The handle screws into the stainless steel base on a short threaded stud, so the two parts can be separated for cleaning or to swap in a different handle. Also, the base is flat with a plain turned edge. In addition, the narrow waist and rounded top suit a classic overhand tamp.

Because the composite does not absorb water the way raw timber can, it copes well with damp hands and quick rinses at the sink. Plus, it is a sensible spare to keep in a drawer or at the office.
