58 mm Dosing Ring – Silver Aluminium, Stepped Collar

58 mm Silver Aluminium Dosing Ring

A dosing ring sits on top of the basket so coffee falls into the portafilter instead of onto the bench. It also gives you room to stir or level the grounds before tamping.

Stepped Collar Design

This ring is machined from aluminium alloy with a matt silver finish. The lower 8 mm step drops inside the basket rim to locate the ring, while the 13 mm collar above it widens to 70 mm across. At only 40 g it stays put without weighing the handle down. The anodised surface resists coffee oils, and a quick rinse under warm water is all it needs between sessions.

Who It Suits

Good for home baristas grinding straight into a 58 mm basket. The same ring comes in matt black, or step up to the heavier stainless steel funnel. It also helps when you use a stirring tool, because the extra wall height stops grounds flicking out.
