Single-shot basket for Gaggia and Saeco

Gaggia’s Classic and Saeco’s Aroma use a 58 mm portafilter, and this single basket is listed as a replacement for them. It takes about 7 g of ground coffee for one short espresso. Use it when you want a smaller drink without wasting a full double dose.

Design

The basket narrows towards a small perforated base, which keeps a single dose deep enough to tamp evenly. A rolled rim and pressed side ridge let it clip into a standard spring. It is made of stainless steel and cleans easily under hot running water.
