Its bell-shaped black body is topped with a thermometer lid. The thermometer lid means you can skip a separate probe, and the slightly wider base suits a medium gas burner.

The dial thermometer’s 10 cm probe reaches into the water, so you can pour at your chosen temperature. A turned timber grip sits on an angled arm, and the slender gooseneck spout keeps the flow fine and easy to steer in circles.
