Asso Coffee Essential 58 mm Tamper – Dark Wood Handle, Flat Base

Asso Coffee Essential 58 mm tamper

Asso Coffee is an Italian tamper maker, and the Essential is its straightforward everyday model. This one has a 58 mm flat base machined from stainless steel, engraved with the Essential name, the Asso Coffee logo and Made in Italy.

Dark wood, threaded fit

The handle is a very dark brown wood, close to wenge in colour, with a rounded top. It screws onto the base on a steel stud, so it can be removed for cleaning. The tamper is about 85 mm tall and weighs around 285 g. A sealed finish on the wood means a damp cloth is enough to keep it clean.
