Precision baskets are wider at the bottom than many standard ones, and a 58 mm tamper can leave a ring of loose coffee around the edge. At 58.4 mm, this base closes that gap for a tighter, more even seal across the puck.

Italian build

The stainless base carries an engraved Ø58.4 and Made in Italy mark. Its mid-brown wooden handle has a mottled grain and screws onto the base, so it comes apart for cleaning. The tamper is about 85 mm tall and roughly 285 g. Wipe the timber dry after use so the finish lasts.
