60 mm E61 Screen with Spoked Support Plate

This E61 cup has a clean mesh face with no centre disc, and inside it a wheel-shaped plate with open segments that supports the mesh while letting water pass freely. The side wall is stamped LF. It suits owners who want an open, full-face spray across the puck.

How the spoked plate helps

Because the plate is mostly open, water reaches nearly the whole mesh area rather than flowing through small drilled holes. The result is a broad, gentle shower that wets the coffee evenly. Brush the face after service and soak it in cleaner every few weeks.
