50 mm Replacement Burr Set for Macap M2 Grinders

Dull burrs crush beans rather than cutting them, so you see more fines, uneven pucks and sour or flat shots. This set replaces both the upper and lower 50 mm flat burrs in Macap M2M and M2D grinders. They are a right-hand cut, matching the factory rotation of these models.

Fitting and set-up

Turn the grinder off and unplug it, wind the collar fully coarse and lift off the top carrier to reach the screws. Clean out old grounds before fitting the new pair, then re-zero the adjustment, as fresh burrs usually need a slightly coarser setting than worn ones. Season them with a little cheap coffee first.

Before you order

Check that your grinder is an M2 series and that the old burrs measure 50 mm with the same screw pattern. Once fitted, a coffee distribution tool helps the finer, more even grind settle evenly in the basket.
