Kees van der Westen Spirit Duette: Spirit engineering on a shorter bench
The Duette suits a café that wants Spirit-level temperature control but has two baristas, not three, and about 1150 mm of counter to give. Each group draws from its own 2.1-litre boiler, while a 10.5-litre steam boiler covers milk and hot water.
Stable shots during heavy milk work
Because steam refilling runs on a separate external pump from brewing, a wand left open through a run of lattes does not upset the shot pressure. Every boiler has an individual PID with a readout you can see from the working position. A slow, stepless pressure build at the start of each shot allows a finer grind and a higher yield from the same dose.
Everyday workflow
Staff can work from bastone levers with two stored volumes plus continuous, or specify the touch pad with four volumes plus continuous. Timers above the groups make dialling in quick. An auto-back-flush routine shortens close-down, the drip tray height adjusts in seconds, and Eco mode trims power use on nights and weekends.

Should you choose the Duette?
It is the sensible Spirit for two-station bars and venues with limited bench length. Larger operations can move up to the Spirit Triplette. See all our commercial coffee machines and pair the machine with good coffee beans.
Our team installs the Spirit Duette in Melbourne and offers repairs and scheduled servicing once it is running. Buy the Duette outright or ask about rental, subject to terms and conditions. Want to discuss your bar? Call 1300 529 505.
