Latte Art Pen for Etching Designs in Milk Foam
Free pouring gives you hearts and rosettas; a latte art pen lets you add the detail afterwards. This stainless steel etching tool has a sharp point for drawing thin lines through crema and foam, and a flat, smooth tail for moving foam around and placing small dots.
Features
- Two working ends: a fine needle for etching and a flat spatula tail for shaping foam
- Stainless steel shaft that stays straight in a thick cappuccino
- Textured coloured handle, about 8 cm long, for a steady grip
- Handle colours: green, purple, silver, pink, blue, white or gold (black when back in stock)
Using the Etching Tool
Pour the milk first, then drag the needle from the edge of a heart or rosetta towards the centre to turn it into a feather or flower. Dip the tip in crema to draw darker lines, or lift a little foam with the spatula end for eyes and whiskers. Rinse it under hot water between cups so foam does not dry on the tip.
Goes Well With
Good etching starts with silky milk, so pair the pen with one of our milk jugs and pitchers and a milk jug thermometer. Browse more coffee machine accessories or our fresh coffee beans. Questions about an order? Call Panica Coffee on 1300 529 505.
