Brita Intenza+ for Philips and Saeco

Philips, Saeco and many Gaggia automatics have a socket in the water tank for this cartridge. Fitting one reduces limescale in the heater and lines and takes out chlorine taste. It is the cartridge Philips and Saeco supply for their own machines.

Set it for your water

The ABC ring at the base matches the cartridge to soft, medium or hard water. Enable the filter in the machine menu after fitting so the machine adjusts its descaling reminders, and replace it every two months or so. A cartridge that is left too long can release trapped scale back into the system, so note the fitting date on the tank.
