Ma-Ter 0.5–1.2 bar Pressurestat with 1/8″ Thread
A pressurestat switches the boiler element on and off to hold steam pressure steady. This Ma-Ter unit has the smaller 1/8″ BSP brass connection, works in a 0.5–1.2 bar window and ships preset at 1 bar. When an old switch sticks, the boiler either overheats or never reaches pressure.
Adjustable and simple to swap
The adjuster screw under the black cap lets you fine-tune the cut-out pressure once it is installed. A microswitch with spade terminals sits on the side, so the existing wiring plugs straight back on. Note the thread size: this one is 1/8″, not the more common 1/4″.
