Water diffuser for Rancilio groups

Behind the shower screen, Rancilio groups use a small threaded diffuser to break up the jet of water. If it is scaled or damaged, water hits the puck unevenly and shots channel. It is one of the cheapest parts in the group yet affects every shot.

Notched rim, threaded spigot

This diffuser is machined metal with a flat face, a notched outer rim that lets water fan out, and a short threaded spigot that screws into the group. Descale it whenever you change the screen. Scale on the diffuser restricts flow to the screen, so a fresh one can noticeably even out extraction on older machines.
