Ulka EP5GW Pump, White Housing

The EP5GW is the white-housing version of the Ulka EP5, used by Saeco, Lavazza, DeLonghi and many other makers. Its label reads Model E, Type EP5GW, 230 V 50 Hz 48 W, duty 2 minutes on and 1 minute off. It has a white plastic outlet and a red inlet cap.

Signs it needs replacing

A tired pump gets noisy, buzzes without moving water, or takes much longer to fill a cup. Check the water tank and inlet filter first, as a blocked inlet sounds similar. If the pump still struggles, a new EP5GW restores flow and pressure.
