Wega Group Head Gasket, 73.5 × 57.5 × 8 mm

This gasket carries the Wega name and the number 12221 moulded into its face, and it is the size used across most Wega cafe machines. At 73.5 mm outside, 57.5 mm inside and 8 mm deep it fits the common commercial group bore. Replace it when the handle swings past its usual position or water seeps from the rim.

Why a fresh seal matters

Constant heat hardens the rubber until it no longer compresses against the basket lip, and shots lose pressure. A new ring brings the handle back to its normal locking angle and stops leaks. Most busy cafes change it every six to twelve months.
