A straightforward 58 mm tamper

It is a sensible first tamper to replace the plastic one that came with your machine, and the black and steel look suits almost any bench. Wipe it dry after each use.

Light handle, solid base

Most of the weight sits in the steel base, about 382 g in total, which keeps the tamper stable as you press. The overall height of around 78 mm suits a fingertip grip, with the index finger resting on the base edge to feel when the tamp is level.
