58 mm Single Filter Basket – 7 g, Stainless Steel

58 mm single basket for one shot

A single basket holds about 7 g of ground coffee for one short espresso or a piccolo. This 58 mm version suits E61-group home machines and most commercial portafilters that use a standard ridged basket. It does not fit Sunbeam machines.

Stepped base

Its walls step inwards to a small perforated floor, which keeps a 7 g dose deep enough to tamp evenly and helps the shot run at a steady pace. The 70 mm rim and side ridge hold it firmly in the handle. Made from stainless steel, it is the same single basket included in our three-piece set.
