The Storm is Astoria’s high-tech machine, with a low body that keeps baristas in eye contact with customers. Independent group boilers let you set temperature per group, useful when you run a house blend and a single origin side by side. Its low height also opens up the bar for counter service and conversation.

Technology behind the Storm

Each group has its own 1.2-litre boiler with a 1000 W element, and an 8.5-litre steam boiler delivers super-dry, condensation-free steam via lever-operated cool-touch wands. Pre-infusion, pressure and temperature are set through an LED touch screen. Height-adjustable tray and feet, a lit work area, energy-saving functions plus USB and Bluetooth connectivity are included.
