The Experta is BFC’s take on a narrow, upright espresso machine for the household bench. Its tall, slim cabinet leaves room beside it for a grinder, and the walnut-toned star knobs, portafilter handle and round feet soften the metal body. A row of indicator lamps and toggle switches sits across the top of the front panel, with a pressure gauge to the left of the group.

Three finishes to match your kitchen

You can choose matte black, crisp white or polished silver stainless. Each version keeps the same timber details and the copper-toned EXPERTA badge on the drip tray, so the choice comes down to whether you want the machine to stand out or blend in with your appliances.

Using it day to day

This is a manual machine: you dose and tamp, lock in the portafilter and start the shot yourself, then turn the steam knob to texture milk for flat whites and lattes. A separate hot water outlet handles long blacks and tea.

Is the Experta right for you?
