3/8″ Boiler Safety Valve, 1.9 bar

Commercial espresso boilers carry a spring-loaded safety valve as protection against overpressure. If the pressurestat fails to switch the element off, this valve opens at 1.9 bar and vents steam safely.

Stamped Rating

The cap is marked Nostral, CE, CAT. 1, CW614N, EN ISO 4126-1, BAR 1.9 and DN 3/8, with a working range of -10 to 200 °C. Side vents direct the steam away from the body and a pin on top shows when it lifts.
