Elektra Micro Casa Leva
Part of Elektra’s Heritage collection, the Micro Casa Leva is a vertical machine topped with the brand’s eagle and finished in copper, brass or chrome. It uses a traditional spring lever, so pressure falls naturally through the shot for a rounded, full-bodied espresso.
How the lever works
Pulling the lever down lets water into the group for pre-infusion, and releasing it lets the spring press the coffee. There is no pump and very little electronics, just a pressurestat, a sight glass for the boiler water level and a pressure gauge. The 1.8 L boiler is filled by hand and also feeds the steam tap for milk.
