Faema E61 Legend 1 Group
Faema’s E61 of 1961 introduced the pump-driven group with thermosiphon circulation that most heat-exchange machines still copy. The Legend is Faema’s own modern version, with the exposed group head, a lever to start and stop the shot and a backlit rear panel. Its stainless steel body and polished details make it as much a display piece as a working machine.
Semi-automatic control
This is a semi-automatic machine: the barista lifts the lever to start extraction and lowers it to finish, so shot length is controlled by eye rather than by a programmed volume. Pre-infusion is built into the group, and Faema’s adjustable thermal balancing system helps hold brew temperature steady. Steam and brew gauges sit on the front panel. Separate taps for hot water and steam cover tea and milk drinks.
