Gaggia Classic E24: the home espresso icon, refreshed

For decades the Classic has been the machine many Australians learnt espresso on, and the E24 keeps that simple layout while upgrading the parts that matter. You grind, dose and tamp yourself, then control the shot with three rocker switches and their matching indicator lights for power, brewing and steam.

What has been improved

The boiler is now brass with a larger volume, so it holds heat better, keeps steam pressure steadier and lets you texture milk for longer. Coffee passes through a lead-free brass group into a stainless filter-holder that matches the size and weight of café equipment. A three-way solenoid valve releases pressure after each shot, leaving a drier puck that knocks out cleanly. The reworked steel body lets you see the water level, and the new drip tray sits more firmly on the bench.
