10 mm Thick Group Head Gasket, 73 × 57 mm

Most E61 groups take an 8 mm seal, but some machines and some older groups need a deeper 10 mm ring. This gasket shares the common 73 mm outside and 57 mm inside sizes while adding 2 mm of depth. It suits machines where an 8 mm seal leaves the handle swinging too far.

Choosing the right thickness

Measure the old seal before ordering: a 10 mm ring in a group designed for 8 mm will make the handle hard to lock. When the original is 10 mm, this restores a firm closure and a reliable seal against the basket rim. Replace it every six to twelve months on a busy machine.
