Replacement handle for Gaggia portafilters

Gaggia home portafilters use a slide-on handle rather than a threaded one. If yours is cracked or the socket has split, this replacement restores a safe grip. The handle is the part you hold every shot, so a sound one matters for safety as well as comfort.

Oval grip, rectangular socket

The handle is moulded in glossy black plastic with an oval cross-section and a flared end. The rectangular socket slides over the portafilter’s flat tang and is held by the original screw. Plastic handles keep heat away from your hand, and the gloss finish wipes clean easily. Keep any fixing screw from the old handle, as you may need it again.

Gaggia models

Suits the domestic filter holder on the Gaggia Classic, Evolution, Coffee, Selecta and Baby ranges. Threaded handles such as the M12 plastic handle will not fit Gaggia’s tang. A new Gaggia group gasket helps the portafilter lock properly.
