Lever machine owners often weigh each dose carefully, and the manual mode on the Cilindro suits that habit, while the single and double settings are quicker on busy mornings. A useful routine is to weigh a manual dose you are happy with, then set the timed doses to deliver the same weight. With a grinding output of roughly 1.2–1.6 g/s, small changes in time make only small changes in weight, so fine tuning is forgiving. When you change grind size for a new coffee, check the doses again. Wipe the chrome body with a soft dry cloth and brush out the chute often.
