Lelit Mara X: stable E61 espresso in a slim body
Just 220 mm wide, the Mara X fits kitchens where bench space is tight, yet it carries the same E61 group found on far larger machines. Lelit makes it in Italy and sells it as the PL62X.
Temperature control that fixes the usual HX problem
Small heat-exchanger machines can send overheated water to the group if they sit idle. Lelit added a temperature probe that steers the boiler during extraction, so shots stay consistent without a cooling flush. The PID is set with simple rocker switches, and you can tell the machine to favour either coffee or steam. Thanks to the 1.8-litre stainless boiler you can froth milk while the shot runs, and the E61 thermosiphon gently pre-infuses the puck.

Is the Mara X a good fit?
It is aimed at home kitchens and very small offices. Since it has no grinder on board, team it with a burr grinder from our home grinder range and keep a supply of fresh coffee beans. You will also find tampers and jugs among our espresso accessories, and our technicians handle coffee machine servicing in Melbourne when it needs a descale or new seals.
