Getting started with conical single dosing
The SPTK-38G suits a home bar where bench space is tight and only a few coffees are made each day. Because it is a single doser, weigh the beans first and grind each dose straight through, which also makes it simple to keep two coffees on the go. Small conical burrs generally grind more slowly than large flat burrs, so allow a little extra time for each dose. When switching from espresso to pour-over, the setting changes a long way, so note your espresso position before you move it. Tap or brush the chute after grinding to release any last grounds.
