1/4″ Anti-Vacuum Valve with Hose Tail

Some machines route the anti-vac’s discharge through a small hose so any steam or drips go to the drip tray instead of inside the case. This valve has the barbed tail for that hose.

Inline Design

The solid brass body has a 1/4″ male thread at one end and a barbed hose tail at the other, with a hex in the middle for the spanner. When the internal seal wears or scales up, it starts to hiss or leak after warm-up. Push the hose fully over the barb and secure it with a small clip if your machine had one.
