Two-Pole Rocker Power Switch, 16 A 250 V

The main switch cuts both active and neutral, which is why it is called bipolar. When the contacts wear the machine may turn on only sometimes, or the rocker may feel loose and stop clicking.

Switch Details

This black rocker is marked O and I and snaps into a rectangular cut-out. It has four spade terminals, two for each pole, and is rated 16 A at 250 V, so it carries the full load of a heating element.
