Tank outlet seal for Breville espresso machines
A puddle under the machine often comes from the tank seal rather than the boiler. This small rubber seal sits where the tank meets the body and stops slow leaks when the tank is seated. It is a common fix on well-used Barista Express machines.
Stepped rubber profile
The seal is moulded black rubber with a stepped collar and a central bore for the tank valve. Push the old one out, wipe the seat clean and press the new one in evenly. A smear of food-safe silicone grease on the outer edge makes the seal easier to push home and helps the tank slide in. Replacing it is usually a five-minute job with no tools needed beyond a blunt pick.
