Ditting KR1403: bulk grinding for roasteries and retail
The KR1403 is the largest grinder in Ditting’s shop range. Its 140 mm special steel burrs grind roughly 36 grams per second, so a full kilo bag is ready in under half a minute. That speed is why roasters and coffee retailers rely on it during busy packing runs.
Made for grinding into bags
The KR version carries a manual bag clamp, a knocker unit that taps loose grounds out of the chute, and a shaker plate. Grind size is set with a stepless dial, so staff can match each customer’s brewer, from espresso to plunger.

Before you order
Check that your site has a three-phase outlet, because this grinder will not run on a standard single-phase plug. For lower volumes or single-phase power, look at the Ditting KR807 or the lab-focused Ditting 807 Lab Sweet, or browse our full coffee grinder range.
Panica Coffee, based in Caulfield South, supplies the KR1403 and offers grinder servicing for roasteries across Melbourne.
