Infusion valve piston for E61 groups

The middle piston of an E61 group sets up the short pre-infusion that the design is known for. A worn seal here can make shots start abruptly or let water bypass when the lever is down.

Long square stem, seated seal

This version has a long square-section brass stem with a collar holding a black rubber seal. It sits between the top cam piston and the bottom drain piston, so replacing all three at once keeps the valve timing even. Worn infusion pistons are a frequent cause of shots that start with a sudden gush instead of a gentle bloom.
