Eureka Mignon Libra: dose by weight, not by guesswork
Timed grinders deliver a roughly similar amount each shot, but bean density, roast and humidity all shift the result. The Libra solves that by weighing the grounds in real time while they land in the basket, then stopping at the figure you set on its touch screen. It was the first Mignon to carry this weighing system, and it keeps the compact footprint that made the range popular on home benches.
How the weighing works day to day
Set a target in grams for a single or a double, rest the portafilter on the fork and press start. The fork accepts any handle size and can be repositioned by hand, so no tools come out when you swap baskets. A dose counter tracks shots, and the stepless micrometric collar lets you move between espresso fineness and coarser settings in tiny increments.
