Eureka Mignon Silenzio: quiet mornings, great espresso

The Silenzio is built around Eureka’s Silent Technology, so grinding before the rest of the house wakes up is no problem. It is also among the most compact quality grinders available.

Setting the Silenzio timer

The Silenzio uses a simple timer rather than separate programmed doses, so it works best for someone who mostly makes the same drink. Weigh a dose, adjust the time until it matches your basket, and leave it there. For a different basket or brew method, switch to manual grinding instead of changing the timer each time. With an espresso output of about 0.9–1.5 g/s, expect a grind time of several seconds, which makes the timer easy to fine tune. After changing beans, set grind size first using the stepless dial, then confirm the time on scales. Brush the chute out regularly.
