Eureka Pura: an all-metal E61 heat exchanger for the home
The Pura is the starting point of Eureka’s Italian-built espresso machine line, and it skips gimmicks in favour of solid parts. A heat exchanger lets you brew and steam together, and a lever on the E61 group starts and stops every shot by hand.
What you get on the bench
The 1.5-litre stainless steel boiler is heated by a 1250 W element, so the machine is usually ready within 10–15 minutes of switching on. A gauge shows pressure at a glance, while an over-pressure valve keeps brewing near 9 bar. The E61 group adds a gentle soak before full pressure, which helps the puck extract evenly.
Easy to live with
The 2-litre reservoir fills from the top and has a sensor that warns you before it runs dry. A 1-litre drip tray slides out for emptying, and both wands are insulated against burns. The low body slips beneath most kitchen cupboards, and a redesigned internal frame makes servicing simpler later on.

Is the Pura a good fit?
Choose it for a home kitchen or a very small office where a few milk coffees are made each morning. You will need a separate burr grinder, so browse our grinders for home use. If a quieter pump matters, compare the Eureka Pura R; a tamper, milk jug and knock box complete the setup. Questions? Call 1300 529 505.
